Challenge and Moderate Trail
On the 1st day, you may choose one of 2 trail options:
- the Challenge trail designed for experienced riders, including sections of the famous Beeri Single Track and the Besor Single Track;
- or the Moderate KKL trail integrated with some 4*4 trail sections.
Both these options constitute about a 50 Km ride. The two groups will meet for a lunch break at Park Eshkol after about 30km. If you will be tired and opt to take a rest, you may finish riding after lunch at Park Eshkol.
Following the ride you (with your bikes) will be provided with transport to our overnight stay at “Sfinat Hamidbar”. The accommodation is a Bedouin style camp in large Bedouin tents. You will get a mattress but you are required to bring your own sleeping bag and towel. If you need our help to arrange these items for you, please write us now and we will take care of it.
In the evening, we will be holding a special cultural evening, BBQ, music and more.
On the menu, besides an amazing BBQ, we will have,
- The Calling Project with Australian singer Savannah Zwi and her band
- A Bedouin dance group and Bedouin bread on a fire.
- A Didgeridoo player and learn how to make “Squiggly damper” – Australian camp fire food.
- An outdoor movie of the ANZACs
